טיפול באמנות עם ילדים מהרשות הפלסטינית

סועאד, מטפלת באמנות במחלקה ההמטו-אונקולוגית משתפת אותנו על העבודה הטיפולית הייחודית עם ילדים מהרשות הפלסטינית ועל האתגרים שבכך:
במסגרת עבודתי כמטפלת באומנות בדנה אני עובדת עם ילדים אונקולוגיים שמגיעים לתיירות מרפא מעזה ומהגדה. בנוסף לאתגרים והקשיים איתם מתמודדים ילדים אונקולוגיים, ילדים פלסטינים המגיעים מהרשות מתמודדים עם אתגרים נוספים מעבר למחלה ולהשלכותיה הגופניות והנפשיות.
עצם היותם רחוקים מביתם וממשפחותיהם, במקום זר להם, בו מדברים בשפה שהם לא מבינים (לרוב זה הביקור הראשון שלהם בארץ), הופך את חווית האשפוז למורכבת במיוחד. חלק מהילדים מתאשפזים לתקופה ארוכה שיכולה להגיע לחצי שנה עד שנה מבלי להשתחרר הביתה בכלל, ובמקרים יותר מורכבים הם מלווים ע"י קרוב משפחה (סבא סבתא או דודה) ולא עם ההורים או לפחות אחד מהם.
היעדר ההורים בתקופה כל כך קריטית עבור הילד החולה מהווה גורם משמעותי להתפתחות קשיים רגשיים שהרבה פעמים מקבלים ביטוי בהתנהגויות ובתגובות חריפות כמו התפרצויות זעם או סרבנות קשה ואי שיתוף פעולה עם הצוות הרפואי.
עלי (שם בדוי), בן 5, אושפז כאן כ-10 חודשים, מתוכם 8 חודשים היה בבידוד מלא. סבו שהה איתו בזמן האשפוז. עלי לא יכל לצאת מהחדר בכלל, גם לא למרחב פתוח, וודאי שלא למרחב החינוכי. הכעס על היותו בבידוד ורחוק ממשפחתו היה מושלך באופן עוצמתי על הסב- לא היה נותן לו לצאת מהחדר, התפרצויות זעם כלפיו ועוד.
בטיפול, השתמשנו בבובות, והתכנים שעלו היו סביב שליטה- מי החזק ומי החלש, דמויות של מציל וקורבן ועוד. המשחק היה בתנאים שלו בלבד, כאשר הוא החליט על מהלך הדמויות שלי במשחק, וכמעט ולא היה משחק הדדי. ניתן להבין זאת באופן מקביל לחיים שלו, שם הוא לא הרגיש כלל שיש לו בחירה והחלטה על מה שקורה. כך, יכולתי להרגיש את החוויה שלו, של חוסר שליטה וחוסר אונים. עם הזמן, ההתנהגויות הקשות כלפי הסב נרגעו, ועלי יכול היה לשחרר את סבו, ההתפרצויות נרגעו, והוא אפשר לעצמו להיות עצמאי יותר.
הטיפול באמצעות אומנות אשר מהווה עבור הילדים כלי השלכתי יכול לעזור להם לבטא כל מיני רגשות מורכבים כמו כעס, עצב או געגועים באופן יותר מווסת, כך שהם יכולים להשליך לאומנות ולחומר תכנים רגשיים מעולמם הפנימי במקום התנהגויות חריגות ולא יעילות עבורם. עלי בנה מטוס (בתמונה) איתו היה יוצא למסע- לחלל ולמקומות שונים. הוא היה הנהג, ובכל פעם היה מעלה למטוס דמויות מהמשפחה שלו- אמא, אבא, דודה, אחותו, וגם אותי. מראה את הפנטזיה שלו לחזור ולהיות עם המשפחה ולהיות חופשי, לטוס ולהיות הטייס של החיים שלו.
